Welcome to Karina Banks. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of our jewellery products and services. By accessing or using this website (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using the Site.

1.2. Products:
We offer a variety of jewellery items, including solid gold, gold-plated, and silver pieces. Additionally, we provide bespoke jewellery design services upon request.

2. Eligibility to Purchase

2.1. By placing an order through the Site, you represent that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age or have legal parental or guardian consent.

  • You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts.

  • All information you provide is accurate, complete, and up to date.


3. Product Information

3.1. Materials:

  • Gold-Plated Jewellery: Gold-plated items are crafted with a sterling silver base metal coated with a layer of gold. These pieces require specific care to maintain their appearance and longevity.

  • Silver Jewellery: Our silver collection is made from high-quality sterling silver. Tarnishing is a natural process for silver and can be minimised with proper care.

  • Solid Gold Jewellery: Solid gold pieces are available in various carats (e.g., 9ct, 18ct, etc.) as described in the product listing.

3.2. Bespoke Design:
We offer a custom jewellery design services. For bespoke items, designs will be created in collaboration with the customer. Once a design is approved, production will begin, and no changes or cancellations will be accepted. Bespoke or customised pieces are non-refundable or exchangeable.

3.3. Product Descriptions:
We strive to provide accurate descriptions and images of our products. However, slight variations may occur due to the nature of the materials used and individual craftsmanship.


4. Pricing and Payment

4.1. Pricing:
All prices displayed on the Site are in pound sterling and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice.

4.2. Payment Methods:
We accept Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard, Amex. All payments must be received in full before your order is processed.

4.3. Customs and Duties:
For international orders, the customer is responsible for any customs fees, import duties, or taxes imposed by your country of delivery.


5. Orders and Shipping

5.1. Order Processing:
Once you place an order, you will receive an email confirmation. Acceptance of your order is confirmed when we send you an email notifying you of shipment.

5.2. Shipping:
We ship globally. Shipping costs and estimated delivery times will be calculated at checkout. Please note that delivery times may vary based on your location and any customs delays.

5.3. Tracking:
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email. You can monitor the status of your delivery through the provided tracking service.


6. Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds

6.1. Return Policy:
We accept returns on non-bespoke items within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is unused, in its original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. This excludes the return of earrings which are non-returnable or exchangable.

6.2. Bespoke Items:
Custom-designed jewellery is non-returnable and non-refundable, as these items are made specifically to your specifications.

6.3. Exchanges:
We offer exchanges on eligible items within 14 days of receipt. Please contact us for further instructions.

6.4. Faulty Products:
If an item is received faulty or damaged, please contact us immediately. We will offer a repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the situation. We will hold responsibility of faulty items for 360 days from the date of purchase.


7. Bespoke Jewellery Design Service

7.1. Consultation:
Our bespoke design service involves an initial consultation with Karina. During this process, Karina will invite you either to her studio or discuss over the phone all your requirements. If after this point you’d like to create a piece with Karina, we would ask for a non-refundable £250+VAT design fee is paid. This will allow Karina to start work on your designs and secure any materials needed. Should you decide to proceed with your design this design fee will come off the final price of the piece.

7.2. Design Approval:
Once a design is finalised, we will either provide you with detail sketches or a digital mock ip of the piece. Any modifications must be made before final approval. Once approved, no further changes can be made.

7.3. Payment:
A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the full fee (minus design fee) is required before production begins. The remaining balance must be paid upon completion and prior to delivery.

7.4. Production Timeline:
Production timelines will vary depending on the complexity of the design and availability of materials. We will provide an estimated timeline during the consultation process but standardly we ask for 12 weeks from the date of approval.


8. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including but not limited to images, logos, product descriptions, design elements and any custom design provided is the intellectual property of Karina Banks and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. Any unauthorised use of this content is strictly prohibited.


To the fullest extent permitted by law, Karina Banks shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the purchase or use of our products or services.

9. Limitation of Liability


We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Changes will take effect upon posting on the Site. It is your responsibility to review these Terms regularly.
